Biologics Sample Registration Apps

Biologics sample registration apps are the first step in the process of working with biologics. The Registration apps available in the Thermo Fisher™ Platform for Science™ Marketplace solution cover 40 of the most commonly used sample types, including generated constructs, clones and other large molecules. Samples can be registered individually or in bulk, and relevant attributes (e.g. notebook reference, molecular structure, sequence annotations, public Gene IDs, etc.) are available out-of-the box.

Research Biologics Registration

app_research-biologics-registration The Research Biologics Registration app allows labs to build an inventory of biologic samples commonly used in screening, target identification and QC. Whether you produce the samples in-house or purchase them from an outside vendor, this app can registration and inventory of biologic samples. It collects details on a variety of biologic sample types including:

  • Enzyme
  • Peptide
  • RNA

Therapeutic Biologics Registration

  • Antibody Drug Conjugate
  • Antisense oligonucleotide

  • Antibody Drug Conjugates

Expression System Registration

The app calculates biologics properties automatically and displays information associated with registered samples and their use. This app is appropriate for the samples as:

  • Stem cells

Viral Delivery System Registration

Users can register and track a variety of viral delivery system types. This app also calculates biologics properties automatically and displays information associated with registered samples and their use. It collects details on a variety of viral delivery systems used in research environments including:

  • Adenoviruses
  • Lentiviruses

Molecular Biology Sample Registration

app_molecular-biology-sample-registration The Molecular Biology Sample Registration app allows labs to register and track nucleic-acid-based samples. It can manage relationships between samples and keep records of PCR primer targets, cloning procedures and so on. This app can be used for, but is not limited to the following sample types:

  • DNA Constructs
  • shRNA
  • siRNA

Biologic Sample Registration Apps Manage Critical Data

All of these registration apps can be used along or can be combined with other registration applications in this group. The apps have dashboards which make bulk registration of new samples quick and easy. These dashboards are also the point to enter critical information, search inventory, manage relationships between samples, and obtain real-time data on the registration and creation of therapeutic biologics.

The apps include built-in relationships to manage parent-child lineage and cloning, and can enable traceability and provenance for downstream processes. User-defined fields and data types can be created through configuration. No custom code is needed to address even the most unique and complex data management needs.
