Launch2014was filled with multiple fascinating customer success stories, including presentations fromThermo Fisher Scientific,Syngenta, andPost Foodsamong many others.During the year we also held several popularwebinars, covering topics fromGlobal Scientific Collaboration in the CloudtoNGS LIMS Workflows all of which arenow available for viewingon-demand.
Focusing on the success of our customers is the central philosophy at Core, so unsurprisingly our top growth priority has beento expandourcustomer success organization.Not only have we grown our team of experienced scientists and technologists, we’vealsocreated a newHelp Center,helpingusers get the most out of their Core Informatics products. We have also addedinformaticsindustry veterans,Kevin Cronin(formerly from BIOVIA)as our Chief Commercial Officer andMary-Ann Moore(formerly from CambridgeSoft/PerkinElmer)as our Vice President of Marketing.
Core Informatics has beengrowing. We’ve tripled in size over the year, securinga position in the top half of the2014 Inc. 5000 listof fastest-growing private companies.We werealso named to theMarcum Tech Top 40for the third consecutive year and our solutions havebeenhighlighted innumerousindustry publications including Scientific Computing, Science,andScientific Computing World.
This year we were thrilled to be chosen as theonlyscientific data management (LIMS, ELN, SDMS) provider in theAWS Partner Network Life Sciences Competency.We’ve seen strong demand for ourPlatform for Science(launched in late 2013), and introducedCore v5.0, developed with an emphasis on an improved user experience. Core President, Anthony Uzzo, gave a fantastic introduction to v5.0 and anoverview of the evolution of Core product developmentat Launch2014.
